NOTICE REGARDING FIRE SPRINKLERS

From 1 March 2013 the NSW Government has legislated that ALL aged care facilities in NSW shall have a fire sprinkler system in all resident areas. All facilities in this State are required to retro-fit, fire sprinklers to comply with the newly introduced legislation. Rosary Village has had fire sprinklers installed in 45% of the Village since 2010.
Rosary Village is in the process of design specifications and tendering for the remainder of the areas to have fire sprinkler systems installed by the end of 2014.
The notice below is displayed on this website as per directions from the NSW Department of Planning & Infrastructure to all facilities that have either partial or no fire sprinkler systems in place.



NOTICE

THIS FACILITY DOES NOT HAVE A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING & ASSESSMENT REGULATION 2000. THIS REGULATION REQUIRES A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE INSTALLED IN THIS FACILITY BY 1 MARCH 2016.
