| WHAT DOES IT COST? | ||||||

Rosary Village offers two types of accommodation for its Residents. Please Note The below prices are the maximum accommodation prices that can be charged effective from 1 January 2018 in accordance with Commonwealth Government Legislation. Accommodation Details These rooms offer a unique standard of accommodation with the rooms having an average size of between 30.2 sq. metres and 40.5 sq. metres plus their own en-suite. They have a separate bedroom with bed provided and lounge area with TV and telephone connection, built in wardrobes, bar fridge and verandah. Carpeted floors, curtain, picture rails and air-conditioning make these a very homelike environment and are suitable for married couples. Pricing The maximum accommodation price is a Refundable Accommodation Deposit ( RAD) of $550,000. This is based on average home prices in our area and the standard of accommodation and recreational amenities offered within Rosary Village. This may be paid as a lump sum or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP); or a combination of both. Residents must decide on a payment method within 28 days of admission. The Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) is converted to a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) by multiplying it by the ˇ°Maximum Permissible Interest Rateˇ± (MPIR) and dividing it by 365 days. The MPIR is determined and set by the Department of Social Services and is calculated quarterly. The current rate is 5.72% effective from 1 January 2018. Examples of Payment Methods  2. Deluxe Rooms. Accommodation Details These rooms have an average size of between 17.5 and 20.3 sq. metres plus their own en-suite. They are air-conditioned and come complete with bed, television, armchair corner desk, curtains and built- in wardrobe. Picture rails allow for memories and favourite pictures to be displayed. Pricing The maximum accommodation price is a Refundable Accommodation Deposit of $500,000 (RAD). This is based on average home prices in our area and the standard of accommodation and recreational amenities offered within Rosary Village. This may be paid as a lump sum or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) ;or a combination of both. Residents must decide on a payment method within 28 days of admission. OTHER COSTS In addition to the above Accommodation Prices, there is also a daily care fee which is determined by the Government to cover care, meals and other services. This is generally 85% of the single pension and may also include a means tested fee if applicable. |
